The photo shows the the winner of the Boys & Girls Club’s artwork competition for the Greeting Card Campaign. Shown Left to Right are Vinson Smith, director of the Hickory Hill Boys & Girls Club, Renee, winner of the competition, and Josh Shipley of Independent Bank and the Phoenix Club. Renee received an Ipod for her winning artwork. Each year the Phoenix Club raises money for the Boys & Girls Clubs by selling greeting cards that businesses will send to their clients and prospects. This year’s selection are some of the best.
Renee has been a Club Member at the Hickory Hill Boys & Girls Club since it opened three years ago. Renee attends Ridgeway Middle. She has a 4.0 GPA. Her favorite activities are arts & crafts and volleyball. Renee’s extracurricular activities include choir and AWARE (All Women Accelerating Ridgeway to Excellence).
