The 2010 Mardi Gras Party has been set for Feb. 27th at the Cadre Building.   You can purchase tickets for this year’s event by clicking on shop. We also have a VIP Room this year which gets you private bar, private gambling and food on the private second floor overlooking the casino and stage.  We have limited tickets this year which was imposed upon us by the Fire Marshall’s office.  Please get your tickets in advance.  $40 includes beer, wine and specialty cocktails.  There will also be a faux casino replete with blackjack, craps and roulette.  Winners will be entered into our raffle for fantastic prizes!  See you at the Cadre on Feb. 27th.  Below are links to great pictures from last year’s party!

The photo shows the the winner of the Boys & Girls Club’s artwork competition for the Greeting Card Campaign. Shown Left to Right are Vinson Smith, director of the Hickory Hill Boys & Girls Club, Renee, winner of the competition, and Josh Shipley of Independent Bank and the Phoenix Club. Renee received an Ipod for her winning artwork. Each year the Phoenix Club raises money for the Boys & Girls Clubs by selling greeting cards that businesses will send to their clients and prospects. This year’s selection are some of the best.

Renee has been a Club Member at the Hickory Hill Boys & Girls Club since it opened three years ago. Renee attends Ridgeway Middle. She has a 4.0 GPA. Her favorite activities are arts & crafts and volleyball. Renee’s extracurricular activities include choir and AWARE (All Women Accelerating Ridgeway to Excellence).
